(Joseff before he went missing)
My friend's dog went missing today. That's him above. He's a five-year-old Shiba Inu named Joseff.
So my friend Matt was walking Joseff out near Bellwoods Hollow when the little guy suddenly lost it. Not very out of the ordinary, I know. But the thing is, Joseff is the most well-behaved dog I have ever met in my life. He started snarling and snapping at something in the woods but Matt swears there was nothing there.
Matt tried to calm Joseff down, but instead of trotting back to his owner, he bolted into the woods after some shadowy shape. I caught a glimpse of it, a dark outline against the foliage. It could have been an animal, I'm not sure. What I am sure about, is that in a matter of seconds, the dog had disappeared. Matt and I spent the whole afternoon searching for Joseff, but it was like he was never there. There were no footprints, he'd stopped barking, and the jingling of the bells attached to his collar had stopped completely. The forest was quiet and still and Joseff was gone.
Bellwoods Hollow is such a weird place. Matt's worried a bear or a snake might have gotten to Joseff. I didn't have the heart to tell him that it might have been something much worse. I hope we find the little guy. If any of you see a Shiba Inu with a red collar wandering around the woods, please contact my friend Matt.
Joseff means the world to him.

I'm starting to get really worried about Joseff.
Something weird happened in the woods today. Mr. Bowers, the resident carpenter, had secured a permit to get some trees lopped down. He was surveying the area when he felt someone watching him. Of course, he chalked it up to nerves. But as he continued his survey, he saw a boy observing him. He looked around 17, he said. Generally, the people of Bellwoods Hollow know that if you ever see anything strange in the woods, you never ever look it in the eye and you leave ASAP.
Mr. Bowers had work to do and he didn't want to appear superstitious so he kept working and the boy kept staring.
Need to save the dog before it's too late. Need to prove the thing in the woods is real before it's too late.

(Matt and Joseff)
Matt showed me this picture today. He sprained his ankle looking for Joseff and he's really torn up about the whole thing. He said a shadow in the woods startled him. He's worried and really out of it right now. I promised to look for the dog for him. I've been hearing about the creature in the woods more and more these days, been catching more glimpses of it too. The dog is still missing. I'm going back to Blackwoods Hollow tomorrow morning.

(Made them myself)
I just had breakfast and I'm leaving for Bellwoods Hollow in an hour. I hope I find Joseff. Wish me luck! I'll leave an update tonight before my podcast with Kindle and Ethan. If you're into conspiracy theories and urban legends, tune in tonight at eight for an hour of shenanigans and ghost stories.
